Norbert Sennhauser graduated in law in 2002 and was admitted to the bar in 2004. Afterwards he worked for two years in the legal department of the tax authority of the canton of Bern and one year as an employed attorney-at-law in a notable law firm with offices in Bern and Zurich. He also successfully passed a one-year vocational tax training (SSK II) of the Swiss tax conference while working.

Since 2008 he practiced as an attorney-at-law on his own account and worked besides that as a professor's assistant and doctorand at the civil law departement of the university of Bern until 2011. In August 2012 he has received his doctorate in law (Dr. iur.). Since January 2012 he is a practicing attorney with the law firm Advokatur Beck.

Norbert Sennhauser is officially registered as an attorney-at-law and thus entitled to represent clients before all cantonal and federal courts and authorities.

Furthermore he is member of the following associations:

• Bern Bar Association (BAV)
• Swiss Bar Association (SAV)
• International Fiscal Association (IFA).

His native language is German; he has very good language skills in English (holder of the Cambridge ILEC) and in French.
